We fitted the mighty Corvette V8 with new Super Growler shotgun twin mufflers with dramatic results all round.

More Power & Performance – More Sound – Just look at that new rear end!

Above is a video of the Vette on one of its runs on the Dyno (Rolling Road). Take a look at the dyno chart results below - without any other mods, The Mutts new mufflers lifted power from 168bhp to 177.5bhp through the automatic gearbox. (On the manual gearbox we would expect this to look more like 180bhp standard to over 190bhp.) And just look at how we smoothed out that flat spot that was there at 3,250 revs – new power and a cool 15bhp gain at the point when it used to just flatten out. Not bad from one of the classic engines from the 70’s.
